Our services begin at 10:00 a.m. Children are always welcome in our services. We have a nursery available for children birth to 3 years who would prefer to play. After our Story for All Ages, children and youth are invited to community time with our Director of Religious Education.
Following the service, there is social time with coffee and snacks. At 11;15, we have religious education for all ages.

Saints, Sinner and Santa Claus with Rev. Paul

Last year’s “you pick the sermon” auction winner Steve Chandler has asked Paul to explore the question “Under what conditions would it be possible to re-kindle complete, unquestionable dedication to the veracity of THE rotund, red-nosed, air-borne annual gift-giver that has been for centuries and remains today, a cornerstone feature of the Western childhood experience?” More succinctly: can we keep the culture and leave behind the dogma.

Sunday Programs for September 2010

Posted by Rev. Paul On August - 29 - 2010

Paul will have a homily about the “the fountain of living waters”—an image taken from the Hebrew Scriptures—and the choir will have a special anthem. September 19: When There is No One to Forgive Rev. Paul

Coinciding with the Jewish holy day of Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement), Paul gives a sermon on the theme of forgiveness. This year, Paul asks how we can practice forgiveness when the source of our pain is not a person but something more abstract—a bureaucracy, an unknown perpetrator, or even God.

September 26: Attributes of Love: Patience Rev. Paul

Rev. Paul continues his series on love with a sermon about patience. We probably all can use more patience, especially in traffic jams or with busy sales clerks. Patience in a loving relationship, though, takes on a whole new meaning and requires a lot more effort.
